- How do you provide dental care in widely separated areas?
Our doctors and assistants live in many parts of southwest Ohio and
meet at each scheduled facility at the start of the work day.
- Do you bring your dental equipment in a truck or mobile
van?
We have new, compact equipment that fits in the back of
small station wagons. Our assistants bring the equipment into each
facility and set up in an assigned room to turn it into a fully
equipped dental office. We have dental units with fiber optic
lighting, high speed and low speed dental drills. We have portable
dental stools, exam lights and pre-sterilized instruments for each
patient.
- Can you extract teeth and make dentures for patients?
We
do routine extractions during regularly scheduled visits and on an
emergency basis, as needed. Some difficult extractions must be
referred to local oral surgeons for removal. Dentures can be
made for patients in their room either in bed or sitting in a chair.
This takes usually four to five separate visits to complete.
- How can appointments be made for someone seeking dental
care?
Most of our patients are residents of nursing home care
facilities. Our company contracts with the facility to come on
regularly scheduled visits to treat anyone desiring dental care. This
usually happens 2-6 times a year. Private individuals that may desire
home care services can contact our office through the numbers
provided.
